From day one at Peak Seven to building a new creative capability for the whole department — here's how Year One actually went.
"I think this is the best thing you've done so far while working here."— Steve
From the first AI-generated video in Peak Seven's toolkit to building a system the organic social team now runs — every production this year started with a real brief, served a real client, and met a real deadline. Not experiments. Deliverables.
Beyond the cost savings: AI didn't just replace what would have been spent — it multiplied what was actually made. Productions that would have yielded a handful of assets came back with full libraries. Photoshoots got extended into new angles, scenes, and formats that didn't exist in the original shoot. More output, from the same starting point.
One agent. A growing skill set. The whole department moves faster.
Peakasso started as a ChatGPT project — a prompt-engineering tool that helped the creative team get sharper results from AI. The name stuck. The concept worked. But Year Two is about taking Peakasso to what it was always meant to be: a true creative AI Agent, built with skills that solve real, recurring problems for the department.
Each skill is a self-contained capability — something Peakasso runs on demand, consistently, without a creative having to think about it. The first skill ships first. The rest follow. One by one, the tedious work gets handled. The creatives stay focused on what actually requires them.
The X100 bootcamp opened doors to what's possible when AI is applied at a company-wide level. Year Two brings those learnings directly into the art department — incorporating the frameworks, strategies, and tools into the Peakasso skill set so the whole creative team benefits from what was learned, not just the people in the room.
The first Peakasso skill: generating complete, AI-ready brand kits. Structured brand guidelines formatted specifically so AI agents can work with them — colors, typography, tone, usage rules — packaged so that any tool in the stack can reference a brand without a creative having to re-explain it every time.
Brand Kit is the foundation. From there, the roadmap builds out:
Each skill repeatable, scalable, and compounding on the last.
Every new skill Peakasso learns is also an opportunity to bring the team along. Part of the Year Two plan is running hands-on workshops and demos — showing coworkers how to use these tools in their own workflows. Not just building for the department, but building the department's capability. The goal isn't to be the only one who can do this. The goal is to make it possible for everyone.
The best AI tools don't move creative work forward without someone who understands both sides — the strategy and the execution. Year Two is about getting into those conversations earlier. Working alongside other departments and the teams already driving Peak Seven's AI initiatives — so what gets built is actually useful to the people making the work every day.
Year One proved what's possible. Let's talk about what Year Two builds.
